Title IX, Part C McKinney-Vento Homeless Assistance Act (Transitional Program)

The McKinney-Vento Homeless Assistance Act or Education for Homeless Children and Youth provides supplemental support for students experiencing homelessness. The purpose is to remove barriers students may experience based on a lack of permanent housing. Fayette County Public Schools sets aside a portion of Title I Part A funds to support homeless students. Please visit Student Services for assistance.
