The Georgia Teacher Academy for Preparation and Pedagogy (GA TAPP) is an available program path to Georgia Clear Renewable Certification for individuals who hold a bachelor's degree or higher from an accredited institution, who did not complete teacher education degree programs and want to transition to the teaching profession. This program equips transition teachers with the skills necessary for initial success in their classrooms.

The Fayette County Public School System participates in the GA TAPP program with a special emphasis on recruitment and retention of exemplary transition teachers in 'hard to fill' areas.
