Andrea Cherry-Lee, Principal

  • Greetings Tiger students and parents,

It is my privilege and honor to be named as the next principal of Fayette County High School and rejoin the Fayette County High School community. Fayette County High School has a rich tradition of academics, athletics, and fine arts. I am excited for the opportunity to work with faculty, students, and parents to build on the school’s 100 years of excellence. My passion for student success has always been my driving force. I believe every student deserves a quality education that will give them the skills and tools to be successful beyond the halls of Fayette County High School. Together, we will continue to build opportunities for students.

As we embark on the second semester, our focus remains on student achievement and communication. Student achievement is our core business and responsibility. As a school, we will continue to focus on quality instruction and embedding literacy across all contents. Additionally, we will strengthen our communication channels to foster a collaborative partnership between home and school.

I look forward to partnering with you, and I invite you to share your thoughts concerning what you value most about FCHS and any ideas you may have about improving FCHS by taking the brief survey below. I look forward to your thoughts, and I look forward to a great start of the second semester as your principal.
