Fayette County Schools has moved to a new bus tracker app, BusQuest. The BusQuest App will give parents access to:
- Student bus numbers for AM and/or PM routes
- Scheduled pickup and/or drop off times
- Alerts as the bus nears your student's scheduled bus stop
To use the new system, parents must create an account within BusQuest. Parents or guardians create a BusQuest account and link their students by following these instructions:
- Download and Open the BusQuest App
- Click Create Parent Account
- Select the Fayette County School District, GA as your school district
- Create a Username based on your cell phone or email address.
- Complete the verification process of the username
- Log into BusQuest
- If you do not have all of your students listed, you need to link your students to your account. Click the “Add Students” button
- Complete the “add New Student” page making sure to include the student’s first name, last name, and birthdate
- If requested, complete the verification process. It can take 24-48 hours for the transportation department to verify link requests.
Please note:
- Students should use the account set up by their parent/guardian to receive notifications through the app.
- Only parents/guardians will be approved to see student information in BusQuest.
- BusQuest has a Spanish language option as well. Parents can choose their preferred language in the “My Account” tab at the bottom of the home screen.
Please ensure your student is at the bus stop at least 10 minutes before the scheduled bus stop time during the first 2 weeks of school and 5 minutes before their scheduled stop after that.

Can I make changes to contact information, bus requests, or bus service in the BusQuest App?
The TransAct software cannot be used for address or bus change requests for Fayette County Public Schools. To change student address or contact information, you should still continue to contact your school.
Is my student’s information secure?
The BusQuest app is only available to parents/guardians listed in Infinite Campus using phone numbers or email addresses that are listed there as well. The App verifies a parent’s identity based on this information before giving a user access to student information
My student’s transportation request is not showing in the App or it is not accurate. How do I change it?
