Special guests helped celebrate Read Across America Week for the first Celebrity Reader event at Peachtree City Elementary.
The school welcomed 24 guests into the building, including principals, Board of Education members, dancers, educators, and Mayor Kim Learnard.
“We had quite the turnout. Students enjoyed hearing stories and visiting with celebrities in their classroom and celebrating reading all across our building,” said media specialist Dr. Amanda White. “All in all, a great start to what will hopefully become a yearly tradition!”
