6th Grade: Business Administration
This course will provide an exploratory foundation in business office administration and support with ongoing learning regarding employability skills, career investigation, and career-technical leadership opportunities. This includes a fundamental understanding of college/trade schools, debt, budgeting, and wage/salary distinctions. Through integrated instructional activities, students will have opportunities to apply employability skills and to research possible career options in the business administration area. They will also complete many hands-on activities to build a strong foundation in integrated software applications and standard office procedures.
7th Grade: Business Administration
This course will provide an exploratory foundation in business management operations with ongoing learning regarding employability skills, career investigation, and career-technical leadership opportunities. This includes a fundamental understanding of college/trade schools, debt, budgeting, and wage/salary distinctions. Through integrated instructional activities, students will have opportunities to apply employability skills and to research possible career options in the business management area. They will also complete many hands-on activities to build a strong foundation in integrated software applications and standard office procedures, Entrepreneurship, International Business, and Human Resources Management.
8th Grade: Investing & Finance
This course will provide an exploratory foundation in financial and investing operations with ongoing learning regarding employability skills, career investigation, and career-technical leadership opportunities. Through integrated instructional activities, students will have opportunities to apply employability skills and to research possible career options in the financial industry area. They will also complete many hands-on activities to build a strong foundation in banking, accounting, and investing.
