ESSER I

The Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security (CARES) Act was passed by Congress and signed into law by President Trump on March 27, 2020. Elementary and Secondary School Emergency Relief (ESSER I) funds were provided to aid school districts in providing emergency response to the COVID-19 pandemic impact on schools.
